Sue Nelson
With a wealth of experience in the aged care sector, Sue joined Juniper 18 years ago, starting out as a carer where she completed her Certificate IV in Aged Care then later stepping into the role of Residential Manager at a previous Juniper home.
Having been the Residential Manager at Annesley for the past two years, Sue believes the home’s biggest point of different is her team of kind, compassionate staff who go above and beyond to meet the needs of each resident.
During her time at Juniper, Sue has realised her passion for working with older people and has found a sense of fulfillment working in aged care.
DINE with Juniper
At Juniper, we believe food is one of life’s greatest pleasures and serving nutritious, wholesome meals is the key to supporting our residents to live their best life. Each of residents enjoy food from our DINE (Dignity In Nutritional Excellence) initiative, cooked at our on-site Catering Centre by our team of qualified chefs using quality, locally-sourced ingredients.
Life at Juniper Rowethorpe
Set in the heart of Bentley, Juniper Rowethorpe is a leafy, quiet and spacious multi-service campus offering older Western Australians wrap-around support with four Residential Aged Care homes, Transitional Care, Retirement Living and Home and Community Care. The safe and vibrant Rowethorpe community has been designed so residents are able to connect with each other, family and fiends with an on-site cafe, children’s playground, parks, and large communtiy centre.
For added convenience, there is also an on-site chemist. As part of the multi-service campus, co-locating residential aged care with retirement living allows partners with different care requirements to stay close together.
