Staff units arrive in Fitzroy Crossing

On Sunday 10 August, a convoy of trucks arrived in Fitzroy Crossing, delivering the new modular units for Juniper’s much-anticipated staff accommodation. The units, now safely on site, next to Guwardi Ngadu Residential Aged Care Home, mark a major milestone in the project to provide comfortable, permanent housing for our team in the region.

Work will soon get underway to install the units, complete the fit-out, and connect them to essential services. Once finished, the accommodation will be available for our highly skilled staff, ensuring we can continue delivering high-quality aged care for Fitzroy Crossing and surrounding communities.

Built on land leased from the Bunuba Operations Aboriginal Corporation (BOAC), the development includes eight one-bedroom units and three two-bedroom units, located next to to Juniper’s existing Guwardi Ngadu Residential Aged Care Home.  The project is partially funded by a Federal Government Grant with co-contributions by Juniper.

The modular units were constructed in Perth by Trigon Projects. Site preparation and service connections will be carried out by local tradespeople and BOAC will support cultural and environmental monitoring during excavation and disturbance of soil. The project is expected to be completed in early 2026.
