Juniper welcomes Esperance aged care and retirement living

Esperance Aged Care Facility (EACF), which operates the local residential aged care home and retirement village, has today transitioned to Juniper.

This comes after Esperance Aged Care Facility’s April announcement it had selected Juniper as a preferred partner, based on a strong alignment in values and commitment to the Esperance community.

EACF Board Chair Mick Curnow said Juniper’s experience in regional Western Australia would help ensure a strong and sustainable future for local aged care services.

“Juniper has a long history supporting regional communities and has committed to ensuring local voices continue to be heard through an Esperance Advisory Body,” Mr Curnow said.

“The advisory body will help shape local priorities and provide valuable guidance and insight to support strong community outcomes.

“We are confident residents will continue to receive excellent care from people they know and trust, while also benefiting from Juniper’s deep experience in aged care across Western Australia.”

Juniper CEO Russell Bricknell said the organisation was proud to become part of the Esperance community.

“Juniper is delighted to be joining a community that has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to caring for its ageing population,” Mr Bricknell said.

“We remain focused on ensuring continuity of care for residents and supporting staff to continue delivering compassionate, high-quality services.

“The EACF team has been wonderful throughout the transition, ensuring continuity of care for residents, and will continue to provide that same compassionate, high-quality care into the future.”

Mr Bricknell also thanked the EACF Board and the Esperance community for their strong support during the transition.

Juniper now has 24residential aged care homes in Western Australia, with more than a third in regional communities, as well as three regional Retirement Living communities and Home and Community Care.
