WA Seniors Week 2025 from 9 to 16 November offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate older Western Australians, and Juniper will be part of multiple senior-focused events to mark the occasion this year.
Whether it’s our customers across residential aged care, retirement living and home care, or working alongside our fabulous volunteers, Juniper greatly values the important contributions that older people have played and continue to play in our communities.
One of the highlights of WA Seniors Week 2025 will be the annual Have a Go Day event at Burswood Park on Wednesday 12 November.
Organised by the Seniors Recreation Council of WA Inc, Have a Go Day remains a popular fixture for people aged 55 and older to discover past times that help boost their physical and mental activity.
The Juniper stands at Have a Go Day as well as the Katanning Seniors Expo, both being held on 12 November, along with the recent Albany Agricultural Show enable Juniper to connect with older people.
To keep everyone entertained at the upcoming Have a Go Day, Juniper will host a Happiness Poll to find out the hobby essential to happiness and a competition for community clubs to go into the draw to win a $500 sponsorship.
Talented chefs from Juniper’s Hospitality team will be whipping up delicious chicken wings with potato & corn salad as well as carrot cupcakes with cream cheese lemon frosting for eventgoers to sample.
Giveaways including Brain Games booklets, nifty magnetic torches and deluxe pens are set be in high demand on the day. Juniper will also be sponsoring the entertainment stage with a fabulous lineup of performers.
With the new Aged Care Act recently launched, Juniper staff will also be on hand to discuss the Federal Government’s Support at Home program, and the services Juniper offers.
