Heartwarming visit to Juniper Chrystal Halliday

There was fun, games and smiles galore at Juniper Chrystal Halliday when youngsters from a local daycare group recently visited.

A partnership between the group and the residential aged care home in Karrinyup is all set to continue bringing intergenerational play to our residents.

Whether it was keeping balloons floating in mid-air, inflating some latex gloves or simply holding a cute bub, residents and staff enjoyed every heartwarming moment.

Juniper Occupational Therapist Danielle Martin said the visits benefitted residents in many ways, which included boosting emotional wellbeing, engaging the mind and strengthening social connections.

“The visits create joy, as the children bring laughter and warmth with them,” Danielle said.
