Aloha 👋 who doesn’t love a themed party?!

Residents and staff at our Juniper Hayloft Residential Aged Care Home in Martin went all out during a Hawaiian-themed evening organised by our Lifestyle Therapy team.

With help from our talented chefs who whipped up some delicious creations, the celebrations spilled out onto Hayloft’s balcony, complete with barbecued prawn skewers, chargrilled pineapple and fresh coleslaw, with the added vibe of a pinata and drinks served from our ‘Hayloft Bar’!

To get into the spirit of the theme, some staff and residents wore their best Hawaiian outfits – from Hawaiian shirts and leis to flower headpieces and hula skirts!

The idea for the Hawaiian theme came from Hayloft’s regular food focus groups, where residents can pitch ideas and put in requests for cuisine or meals on the menu.

Needless to say, the evening was a huge hit with residents, who loved the ‘lei’d back’ atmosphere!

A big thank you to our Hayloft team including Lifestyle Coordinator Janelle and Chef Herman, as well as Jason and Kirrie from our Hospitality Team, for bringing this fun event to life for our residents! 💛
