We always sing the praises of our amazing team of Juniper staff and this Aged Care Employee Day; a group of customers have expressed their love and thanks in song.
Celebrated on August 7 each year, Aged Care Employee Day recognises the dedication of aged care staff across Australia and at Juniper we have an incredible team to celebrate.
Juniper Hayloft resident Tup recently wrote the lyrics for “Who would care as much as you do” as a way of thanking Juniper carers and staff for all they do, and the difference they make to the lives of customers.
“Just before I came here (Juniper Hayloft), I felt like giving up,” Tup said. “But the carers, they lifted me up, and I’m always thinking about them, all of the staff – I’ve just written how we all feel.”
The heartfelt song is set to the melody of “You are my sunshine” and shares lots of beautiful sentiments from customers’ point of view as well as some funny moments along the way.
To mark the important day, several leaders at Juniper were asked to describe the Juniper workforce in three words.
