Book a tour

Once your selection has been made, be sure to contact us and proceed to book a tour of your preferred location. Discuss with us your lease options - and before signing any contract, seek financial and legal advice, if necessary.

Offer and Acceptance

When you have decided to move to one of our retirement units, and the unit is vacant, make a formal written offer. You are also required to pay a Deposit and Administration Fee to secure the unit.
Once you have paid the Deposit and Administration Fee (and in cases where you have not completed an offer “subject to sale” or with other conditions), after all the conditions have been met, and you have a firm move-in date, Juniper will then prepare the agreement document for you.

Our mix of one- and two-bed accommodation gives you a range of retirement living choice rarely seen in the inner suburbs.

Inside, you’ll find standard accommodation including kitchen cupboards and benches, cooker, hot water system, toilet, shower, and bathroom vanity unit.

A typical unit will provide:

  • Built-in wardrobe in master bedroom
  • Light fittings – oyster lights throughout
  • Floor coverings – carpet or vinyl in bedrooms and living area; vinyl in kitchen; and tiles in bathrooms, toilet, and laundry
  • Window treatments – vertical or roller blinds in kitchen, living areas and bedrooms
  • Fly screen or security doors on external doors
  • Fly screen or security screens on windows
  • Air Conditioner in main living area and main bedroom
  • Duress call system with up to two pendant buttons Juniper provides site maintenance and gardening

Our 20 single-bedroom cottages bring affordable independent living choices to the inner suburbs. The compact Dunoon and Cromarty Cottages feature:

  • kitchen and lounge-dining areas
  • a bedroom with ensuite
  • Each cottage has easy storage and residents have access to centrally located laundry facilities.

Thrum House is our central retirement apartment complex with over 10-storeys, featuring spacious residences and magnificent views from every floor.

Leading from the ground floor foyer is a cosy lounge area and small coffee shop. Larger functions can be accommodated and residents also enjoy the convenience of our on-site hairdresser, and Chapel for spiritual support.

33 ensuite apartments offer a choice of one- or two-bedrooms. Each apartment has its own kitchen and combined dining and living areas.

All independent living apartments have at least one balcony. This offers an ideal outdoor setting, with a breathtaking view.

Inside, you’ll find standard accommodation, including kitchen cupboards and benches, cooker, hot water system, toilet, shower and bathroom vanity unit. All residents have peace of mind with a 24-hour duress call system with up to two pendant buttons.

Juniper St David’s is also very close to transport. Bus routes run frequently on Beaufort Street (with a twice-daily service to the facility), and the Mount Lawley train station is located nearby.

Accommodation at Juniper St David’s is offered as a Lease for Life arrangement, through payment of a part-refundable entry contribution, with an additional fortnightly operating service fee. Some units are offered as rental tenancies.
