Location Information

Designed around an internal garden, this residential care home accommodates 10 residents’ rooms. They open directly to the veranda surrounding the gardens. In each room, residents will be able to find:

  • A room for up to three residents
  • An adjoined bathroom and walk-in shower area, toilet, and hand basin
  • A shower chair in the bathroom
  • A bed with a bedside locker
  • Overbed table
  • Bedding (sheets, towels, pillow, pillow case, and blankets etc.)
  • A TV
  • A comfortable chair
  • Wardrobe and drawers
  • Window treatments and curtains
  • Air-conditioning
  • A call bell available in case of emergency

You are most welcome to personalise your room with small items from home such as photographs, pictures and ornaments.

Juniper Guwardi Ngadu is a residential care facility specifically designed and built to meet spiritual, cultural, physical and health care needs of the frail aged in the Fitzroy Valley.

We offer many different senior activities which appeal to a wide range of interests and abilities. Our trained staff support individuals’ well being with:

  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner - with a morning and afternoon tea, plus a light supper (where all meals are prepared for freshness and nutrition)
  • Hotel services including cleaning, laundry and site gardening/maintenance
  • Personalised care planning consultation with residents and family members (discussing your food preferences)
  • Recreational aged care activities including painting and arts, games and movies
  • Keeping active via bus trips and an exercise program
