Restricted visitation arrangements

Juniper will be extending restricted visiting arrangements from Thursday 30 April 2020.

The restrictions for visiting in person at Juniper’s residential care facilities are based on the guidelines provided by the Commonwealth and Western Australian governments in response to COVID-19 and include:

  • Limited visiting hours will be available at each site
  • Residents are permitted 1 visit per day of up to two people at the same time in the resident’s room
  • Visitors are required to pre-book their visit directly with the facility
  • Visitor Screening and temperature checking is required on entry
  • Evidence of 2020 influenza vaccination (from 1 May 2020) is also required.

Appropriate evidence can be a download your vaccination record from Medicare Online, or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app, or a statement or record from your GP or Medical Practitioner.

We are committed to providing the best care to our residents and we thank families and friends for their support in these exceptional times.

Juniper will continue to closely monitor and respond to the COVID-19 situation in the community over the coming weeks.

If you have any questions about Juniper’s restricted visiting arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact the Residential Manager at your site.
