A vibrant new estate is taking shape in Lockyer and leading aged care and retirement living provider Juniper is seeking an experienced café operator to help realise its vision for seniors and the wider community.

Chief Executive Officer Chris Hall said a fantastic opportunity exists in taking the café business forward at a great location in the centre of the organisation’s growing estate.

“We are seeking a dynamic response in operating our new café at the Beryl Grant Community Centre in Lockyer,” Mr Hall said.

“The existing retirement village combined with the Community Centre’s activity and a new aged care facility onsite next year, creates a good starting point for success while delivering real benefits for seniors, families and the wider community.”

Expressions of interest are invited from experienced operators who can manage a full service café with catering opportunities for Juniper’s activities and private functions at the Juniper Beryl Grant Community Centre.

“We welcome individuals or businesses who can help us empower families and seniors to engage in their community and build their social networks so that they may live a good life,” Mr Hall said.

Juniper’s newest 100-bed residential aged care facility, well underway and due for completion in mid-2019, is co-located with the organisation’s existing community centre and retirement community on Townsend Street, Lockyer.
