After filling in as a Multi Skilled Care Worker for six weeks, Colleen knew she found her calling in life when she stepped through the doors at Juniper. Now, 28 years later, she still calls Juniper Hilltop her second home.

“I signed up to cover for someone while they went on holiday and I loved it so much that I never left,” Colleen said.

Colleen started as a Multi Skilled Care Worker and for the last 18 years has been the Supervisor at Juniper Hilltop, Bentley.

“The best part of my job is that I still get to care for the residents. I love them and I will do whatever I have to for them. I treat them as if they are my family.”

“Sitting down and listening to my residents talk about their life and family makes me so happy. I want them all to feel loved because they are all so special to me,” Colleen said

Colleen completed all her aged care training with Juniper and had access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities that gave her the confidence to advance her career.

“Ever since I stepped through Juniper’s door, I have felt supported. They gave me the opportunity to complete my Certificate 3 in Aged Care, as well as all my Wound Care training.” Collen said.
